MAGGIE ARON is given the nod here ahead of Minneapolis and Dirty Deal. Tim Vaughan's progressive bumper horse makes her hurdling debut this afternoon and as long as she jumps proficiently she should go close. She handles quick ground and having won at the track before is expected to take all the beating with Richard Johnson (on for last two wins) onboard once again. Tuppeny Piece is considered given she has shaped with some promise in two hurdling outings so far (not particularly well-fancied on either occasion), whilst Racingisdreaming has an official rating of 86 and doesn't set too high a standard to aim at. Pegasus Lad was ok on the flat and connections will have been encouraged by her run here last month, Unleashed was by far the best of these on the flat (rated 106 at his peak) but his first try over hurdles at Worcester was just modest and he needs to improve today. Minneapolis is another to have contested some good races on the level but he ran with credit when third to Wilbury Star here last time and can put his experience to good use, however we will take a chance on the hurdling newcomer Maggie Aron.
