        Verdict

        Scommettitrice had every chance before weakening over 6f and the drop in trip may help whilst SARANGOO ran a lot better than the positions suggest last time and is our selection ahead of Stunning In Purple. The pick did well to chase the leaders last time out and although only fourth on that occasion will have come on for that run and the Malcolm Saunders filly can win this contest assuming progression. Scommettitrice will appreciate the drop to the minimum after finding a furlong more too much last time out at Bath. There is more to come after that debut run and if the juvenile has improved for that run could put up a challenge. Stunning In Purple has put in some solid performances but has lacked the sheer pace to keep up and she may find that to be the case once more. Fantasy Fry has claims after being beaten by some interesting types last time out at Brighton. In this first race on the card we side with Sarangoo to grab the win.
