Verdict

Tread carefully here but HOT RYAN ran a decent race on first start back after wind surgery when a sound third in a 3m Uttoxeter handicap and has room for further progression after just half a dozen starts over timber. This sharp track should suit and the only real negative is the assessor has seen fit to hoist him 3lb for finishing in the bronze medal position last time. Angel Of The North is not one of the Skelton stars by any means but has been running solidly enough to suggest a decent showing, whilst keep an eye on any market move for Show's Over. He only ran two days ago but is back over hurdles now where he is rated 5lb lower than over fences and first-time cheekpieces are applied. Kapoupakap and Petrify are also noted.
