      Verdict

      Flame Phoenix, Sir Laughalot, and Mystical Star look the three to concentrate on in his novices hurdle and the vote goes to Flame Phoenix. The selection won well last time out when defeating Siena Star and with conditions again in his favour despite his penalty he will be hard to beat. Sir Laughalot rates the main danger. He also won well last time out when defeating Shamdian that was only his second run over hurdles so he is open to plenty of improvement and he will not be far away. Mystical Star won over seven furlongs on the flat. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and he is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder Dawton is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Flame Phoenix.
