    Verdict

STUMPED won in taking fashion last time out and he can dismiss Battle Group and Tzora. Milton Harris has made a habit of making good from others' stock and the former Stuart Howe inmate looked back to his best at Fontwell. Somewhat surprisingly, tonguestrap that accompanied that success has been left off this afternoon. Battle Group won readily at Stratford and could conceivably still be on the upgrade. Tzora would not mind a little rain so his run on the flat at Goodwood can be safely ignored. Al Amaan will be ridden by Tony McCoy and as he has replaced the intended amateur, the market should be watched accordingly. O'Toole has had his moments in the past though is probably on the downgrade at his advancing years. Henry Hook would have solid claims on some of his novice form but he has run some way below it in his most recent racecourse appearances. A competitive race in which Stumped is taken to follow up an emphatic victory last time out.
