Verdict

BLACK CORTON was biting off more than he could chew in a Class 2 event here in May. But, despite carrying a penalty for an earlier victory at Exeter, should have no problems getting back to winning ways in this. Supply And Demand will need to jump better than he did at Uttoxeter in November but has plenty of scope, as does Djarkalin. Dan Skelton's four-year-old appeared to find 2m too short in a bumper in April so this step up in distance should help. Tonganui has yet to show much in the way of ability however.
