In depth
Verdict
This should not take a great deal of winning and Johns Legacy gets the vote in preference to Hold On Harry and Maybe A Double. The last mentioned makes her rules debut today on the back of a recent win in a point-to-point and it has to be taken on trust that the mare will be able to cope with regulation fences. Annie Dipper was weakening when unseating her rider last time but had previously shown promise between the flags and has to be respected in this lowly grade. The 11-year-old Polar Flight is not as good as he once was but i still capable of fair form, while recent winning pointer Be My Side makes a belated return to rules and is another to consider. Hold On Harry has been running well without a great deal of luck in point-to-points of late and has the assistance of a decent amateur but the vote goes to Johns Legacy. The 10-year-old has run well in comparatively good company in two starts in hunter chases so far this term and holds an obvious chance in this company.
