        Verdict

        Slidecheck was only fourth off this mark last time at Bangor and may be in the handicapper's grip now. VEXILLUM could not have won more easily at Fontwell and it's no surprise that he's turned out quickly again under a penalty. He can take this step up in grade in his stride. Edlomond is better than he showed last time at Fakenham and could make the frame while Maizy Missile keeps defying the years, though Mary Evans' mare was almost 10 lengths behind Triggywinkle here last month.
