        Verdict

Another competitive contest but the main protagonists appear to be Wagner Carnoustie and Capriolo. However we will stick with Carnoustie. The gelding from the Richard Phillips yard was a good second behind Mandy's Rose on his debut this season, he is sure to have come on for the run and he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Wagner rates the main danger but although he travels well in his races he does not always find as much as expected and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Capriolo was a fair second behind The Newsman off this mark last time out but this looks more competitive. Of the remainder Dorams Gold has dropped to a fair mark and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
