Verdict

STELLENBOSCH caught the eye last time out and is taken to win this time around ahead of Master Wells and I Hear Symphony. The selection finished a decent second to Downing Street at Ludlow last month. He has been raised six pounds for his troubles that day which does seem a little harsh but Charlie Mann has his team of horses in good form of late and Peter Toole is able to claim a valuable seven pounds off his back which gives him plenty of appeal. Master Wells gained back to back victories at Exeter and Hereford in March but both were in selling races. He is upped in grade here and will have to produce a personal best to win. I Hear Symphony comes from a yard in form and drops in grade after competing in some top quality races so should be noted in the better market, but Stellenbosch looks the form pick and is given the vote to score.
