In depth

Verdict

Primal Focus looked sure to win at Fakenham last time when falling at the last. He has another half-mile to cover here but this is also a sharp track and he’ll take all the beating if lasting home. Calin Du Brizais is a course and distance winner entitled to respect but Polished Rock finished tailed off in a weaker race last time at Hereford and Bramble Brook is hard to catch right. LEX TALIONIS also appears to have two ways of running but was second at Ludlow in January over this trip and is 2lb lower – he might be the value if reproducing that effort.
