In depth
Verdict
Recount, Rapscallion and Cash On are three against the field in this competitive opener and the tentative vote is given to Recount. The selection was a fair third behind Ammeq last time out, that form has since been franked and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Rapscallion rates the main danger on his latest third behind Cava Bien, however he pulled very hard on that occasion and looks a dubious stayer and with this in mind he looks worth taking on. Cash On is another that could go well open his latest second behind Brochrua but that was in a seller and this looks more competitive so he needs to improve. Jazz Scene was a fair sort on the flat at his best and should be noted in the market while Draem Alive showed ability on his debut and is sure to improve but in a race where the market will be all important for the winner we return to Recount.
