    Verdict

EMERALD ROCKET will likely never get a better chance to shed his maiden tag. Second in four of his five starts over timber and third in the other, Olly Murphy’s gelding is fairly consistent and reunited today with Richard Johnson. Caswell Bay displayed promise in his first two starts last season but his form tailed off when tried in handicaps. Irska looks modest and it’s even harder to make a case for any of the others.
