      Verdict

      Conditions may be alien for a few of these but Legal History ran well on good to soft at Newbury in March and produced a career-best in a Listed handicap at Market Rasen last month. Innocent Touch is back over hurdles having failed to take to fences but he’s one of those with a lot to prove on the surface. Romanor is another but Definitelyanoscar won on soft ground at Warwick last year and could figure if fully wound-up. Carntop got back to winning ways at Southwell but needs good going. EMPREINTE RECONCE (NAP) is two from two around here and won’t be inconvenienced by the ground so can defy his penalty for last week’s victory as this looks too hot for course specialist Tamarillo Grove.
