This may be the most competitive race on today’s card, though it’s difficult to make a case for Balkinstown and Rosserk Abbey while Guerrilla Tactics hasn’t had the best of luck around here in the past. Sinakar shot clear at Uttoxeter nine days ago and should be in the firing-line again, despite a 7lb rise. Hot Ryan has won her last two at Worcester but has also been raised a further 7lb. Stablemate PICTURE PAINTER needs holding up but Ben Godfrey probably overdid the waiting tactics here 11 days ago. If the Pipe’s supposed second string is in touch turning for home today, he may have too much pace for these. Paddys Runner is just preferred to the versatile Gardiners Hill of the others.
