Verdict

Powderonthebonnet has been well backed the last twice but doesn't really handle ground with some give. The recent wins of The Wealerdealer and Blazing Buck have come between the flags. Bourne would have made short work of these in his heyday but the grey is a light of former days. MOTTS CROSS, who won at Exeter in April, shouldn't be far away if handling the surface as he was only beaten a length over 3m at Towcester in May so should stay the trip on this easier track.
