Verdict
Ballon Onabudget was progressing last season but a further leap forward would be required to make a winning reappearance in this. Tamarillo Grove is a standing dish here but now a teenager and Moabit has become disappointing. Percy Street has also been hard to place but Kentford Heiress ran her best race for some time at Southwell and the third has won since. The Sweeney didn’t take to fences at Market Rasen and was pulled up but he’ll strip fitter here while the return to a longer trip will suit Gateway To Europe. DOUBLY CLEVER thrives at this time of year and ran a nice race on the all-weather last month. With Luca Morgan taking off a valuable 7lb, the top weight may be the value.
