Verdict
Maidstone Monument, Mantel Girl and Tam O¿Shanter look the three to concentrate on here with the vote going to the last named. Tam O'Shanter has not won since July 2001 but has been running with credit all season without getting his head in front. That should only be a matter of time as this trip of three miles three and a half furlongs is ideal as he stays every yard and with a few question marks over some of the others staying ability this could be his opportunity and is taken to win. Of the others mentioned Maidstone Monument ran well to finish third in a Class D affair last time out and may be coming back to form and will be worth noting in the market as will Montel Girl who has been in consistent form of late and should be in the three. But for the winner we return to Tam O¿Shanter.
