Verdict

PLATFORM NINETEEN won a maiden handicap on fast going over today’s trip at Beverley last week. But he went close in testing ground at Catterick before that and Michael Bell’s charge is taken to defy a penalty. Victoriano finished third behind the selection at Catterick while Well Funded acts on the surface, though steps up in trip having won over 1m6f at Doncaster. Harry The Norseman is another with a chance stepping up in distance and Constraint may well improve now handicapping for the first time.
