Verdict

An interesting stayers' contest with three last-time winners involved and we'll take one of those in HENDERSYDE to score from Okafrance and Kiribati King. The Walter Swinburn-trained selection is lightly-raced and open to further improvement, and looks capable of finding some here now stepped up to two miles for the first time. His win over Sandown's testing 1m 6f suggests he will get every yard here and the return to a sound surface looks a plus so we'll side with him. Okafranca was an eight- length winner around the Roodee last time on ground described as good to soft, but he will find it hard to be as effective on this faster ground and a 7lb penalty might find him out. Kiribati King is in tremendous form, reeling off a hat-trick at Haydock, Warwick and most recently at Pontefract. All those victories came with cut in the ground and with another 3lb rise plus this good ground he might just get found out. The hoods are left off Neve Lieve today after they didn't do the trick last time and she will like the ground so can show is more this time. Broken Moon needs a favour from the handicapper.
