LADY CHLOE, the only three-year-old on show, appeals off the bottom perch after staying on powerfully to make all over this trip in a Redcar maiden. Previously outpointed by a Godolphin newcomer at Newcastle, she had the rest comfortably beaten off that day and is clearly on the upgrade and open to improvement. Cathy Gannon, in sparkling form at present, partnered Golden Waters to a smooth Bath success last month and the combination has clear claims in this follow-up attempt off a 5lb higher mark. Standpoint is an infrequent winner but is consistent enough and is starting to drop to a dangerously attractive mark after a series of respectable efforts in decent company. Strong Vigilance is interesting on return from a break.
