In depth
Verdict
We wll short list Dear Gracie, Miss Thailand and Rose Lady and select Dear Gracie in this fillies' maiden. Very well-bred, Adraaj gets a mention, although middle-distances might prove to be her forte. Danetime's half-sister, Dear Gracie, is a very interesting contender, while Gaze is also interesting based on breeding. Harvest Queen showed promise on her debut, although the form looks modest, while Miss Thailand's third to the smart Erytheis on her debut marks her down as promising. Sophie James has something to like on breeding and, with their stables in such good form, Mick Channon's Rose Lady and Luca Cumani's Valerie have to be considered also, and the winner should come, we feel, from one of the horses already mentioned. The betting might tell us more but, for the selection at this point, we return to Dear Gracie.
