Verdict
Consular, Michaels Pride and Queen's Dancer look to be the principles here and the vote is given to Consular. The selection is a well-bred colt by Singspiel and as his trainer Michael Jarvis has a good strike-rate with his two-year-old's this season, he could be capable of making a winning racecourse debut. Michaels Pride rates the main danger as she is another well-bred type, and this filly from the Mark Johnston yard should be noted in the market. Johnston's string are in good form at present so if the market vibes are positive then it could pay to take the hint. Queen's Dancer put up a fair effort under similar conditions when fifth behind Descartes at Newbury last time, so she is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Consular.
