In depth

Jargelle is the one to side with here and can provide Willie Haggas with back to back wins in this contest. The Kheleyf filly made an encouraging start to her career at Warwick when chasing home a couple of more experienced and useful fillies. She finished clear of the remainder and it would be surprising if she bumped into anything of their calibre in this contest. Gemini Jive showed improved form from her debut but may be seen to better effect in nurseries as may Abu Derby and Fyelehk. Iachimo is the most interesting of the newcomers but experience often proves crucial in these contests and it's hard to oppose Jargelle.

Abu Derby (IRE) 11-2 (9-3) Tracked leaders and keen, ridden 2f out, kept on same pace, 4th of 13, 10l behind Rievaulx World (9-3) at Ripon 5f 2yo mdn auc (5) gf in Jun.

Fyelehk (IRE) 20-1 (9-3) Reared start, towards rear, some headway on inside over 1f out, never nearer, 8th of 11, 11l behind Klynch (9-3) at Kempton 5f 2yo mdn auc (6) pol in Jun.

Iachimo Sakhee colt out of winning sprinter Latin Review.

Meydan Style (USA) 25-1 (8-12) Took keen hold mid-division, weakened over 1f out, 7th of 10, 13l behind Sunset Crest (8-7) at Haydock 5f 2yo mdn auc (5) gd in Jun.

Gemini Jive (IRE) 25-1 (9-0) Pulled hard, led, ridden and headed over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong, 8th of 15, 3l behind Dove Mews (9-0) at Newmarket 6f 2yo mdn fll (4) gf in Jun.

Jargelle (IRE) 8-1 (9-0) Chased leaders, driven to challenge over 2f out, every chance approaching final furlong, kept on, 3rd of 10, 1 1/2l behind Cecily (9-0) at Warwick 5f 2yo mdn fll (5) gf in Jun.

Jiggalong Mark of Esteem filly out of a lightly-raced maiden.

Leftontheshelf (IRE) Namid filly, half-sister to winning sprinter Dearg.
