In depth

Verdict

Drastic Measure makes a quick return to the racetrack and the hint should be taken, Fleeting Spirit and Cute could be the pick of the debutantes. Sir Mark Prescott's filly put in a solid effort at Leicester seven days ago, finishing a close up third behind the Barry Hills trained Just A Dance. She looked in need of the run and should improve for the experience. Clive Brittain trains Cute who looks the part on paper. She is a 50 thousand Guineas daughter of Diktat and if the money is down take note. Fleeting Spirit is the representative of Jeremy Noseda and this daughter of Invincible Spirit fetched four times her yearling price when sold as a two-year-old. Pantheri and Miss Emma May both displayed ability on their debuts, but Drastic Measure's form may be a lot stronger and she gets our vote.
