In depth
Verdict
Easy ground suits Latent Heat but he’s having a first run since October. RAINS OF CASTAMERE (NAP) bolted up in a small field at Pontefract nine days ago and Mick Channon has no qualms about running his improving four-year-old in this under a penalty given he’s going up 6lb next week. Emraan makes his Turf debut after a very long absence so is best watched while Baashir has only raced on quick ground so far, though is also unexposed. Bonneval won on soft at Redcar last August, however, so can’t be ignored and Aweedram is also worth a second look as he slips further down the weights.
