      Verdict

      A tight betting heat with little separating the principals on official figures but the vote goes to Czarina Waltz with Wunderwood, Oopsie Daisy and Analyze as the dangers. Chris Wall's Czarina Waltz showed a consistent level of form last year and showed she had trained on when runner-up behind a useful rival in a highly competitive Newmarket handicap last week. Sure to be raised by the assessor as a result, the daughter of Emperor Jones looks well treated by the race conditions and looks the one to beat. Wunderwood made a winning debut on the all-weather in January but hasn't been seen since and this represents a marked step up in grade while Oopsie Daisy is probably capable of better than she has shown to date but has to overcome a long lay off and her stable has been a little quiet. Analyze has a poor strike rate for one of his ability but comes here in good heart and should give another good account with a useful apprentice booked.
