    Verdict

PILASTER looks to have plenty going for her on her return to action. A winner at Chelmsford and Kempton, she escapes a penalty by a few days for her victory in the Group 2 Lillie Langtry over this trip at Goodwood and her class should see her home. Her three rivals all have a fitness advantage. Elegiac loves this trip and is a smart handicapper who didn't quite last home over 2m at Chelmsford last month. Five-times winner Ravenous has been hurdling though has a huge amount to make up on official ratings but Amazing Red won a Class 2 handicap at Newmarket in June and his two runs last month were over trips too short.
