In depth
Verdict
Silkstone, a winner at Leicester in August, ended his season with a good run over an extended mile here in November when staying on nicely. He'll be suited by the extra while Nabbeyl, who was running on in his first two starts, may not have been suited by front-running at Wolverhampton in December. MAYFAIR SPIRIT was outpaced in the early stages over a mile at Kempton last month but was staying on to good effect in the latter stages and was only beaten half-a-length. He's well enough handicapped to take this though Robert Fitzroy is unexposed and likely to do better while Fantastic Ms Fox is Richard Fahey's only runner here today and showed much more on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton in November.
