        Verdict

        A trappy classified stakes race here and many would have chances on their best form and the principals look to be Tre Colline, Cherished Number, Riley Boys and Pending and the tentative vote goes to Cherished Number. The selection was disappointing last time out but prior to that he had been in fair form, this represents a drop in class and despite top weight he is taken to score. Tre Colline has been in good form on the AW of late but his form on the turf leaves him with a little to find and he is passed over on this occasion. Riley Boys is another worthy of respect he will not mind any rain and a reproduction of his latest second behind Charnock Bates One would see him go close. Pending is another that could go well he is from a yard in top form and he is sure to strip fitter here than for his latest third behind Flashing Blade last time. Of the remainder Slalom is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Cherished Number.
