      Verdict

      FILS ANGES failed to find that bit extra needed to get his head in front when a close-up fourth over 6f at Windsor. The drop back to the minimum trip should suit on that evidence and he's just preferred to Quality Mark. The latter has been placed in a couple of starts over 5f though it was fast ground on both occasions. Bentleysoysterboy and Star Maid have plenty to find but Captain Cruz is related to a winning sprinter and the 50,000gns filly, Cara Gina, is worth noting on her debut.
