Given the poor recent form of most of today's opposition, MAC TIERNAN has obvious claims. He's won two of his last three starts now having returned to action with victory in an apprentices' race at Ayr last week and escapes a penalty for this. Present Day made a satisfactory comeback at Chepstow and should be thereabouts and Fushicho tries this longer trip once again after a close-up third at Bath on his penultimate start over a mile. Echo Of Footsteps and Daniel Thomas are a couple of those with the past form to figure if back to their best.
