In depth

Verdict

Van Gerwen won off a higher mark at Redcar in the autumn and is usually thereabouts at this level. He makes more appeal than stablemate Nibras Again. Grandfather Tom is a course and distance winner who looked to be coming to hand again here last month. Snow Berry has had a break but could figure back on Turf though ELECTRIC LOVE makes more appeal. Tom Clover’s filly has been holding her own in better company since completing a Yarmouth double last summer. Duke Of Firenze has won 12 of his 119 career starts but is a shadow of his former self.
