In depth
Verdict
Several of these are open to plenty of improvement and it may again pay to keep tabs on the first few home if they are kept to a modest level after this. The ones to concentrate on though appear to be Muslin, a well-bred filly from the James Fanshawe yard that should improve for the run, Peak Of Perfection, a half-brother to the useful Camberley, and Tudor Bell, who improved for the step up to this trip at Pontefract last time. However, Mountain Meadow did well to get so close to Guineas entry Salford City on his only start to date and he is confidently expected to come out on top here if he has wintered as expected. The Deploy gelding had some useful types in behind him on that occasion and, with normal improvement anticipated, he could be a class above these today.
