        Verdict

        With the stalls on the stands side Blundell Lane looks ideally positioned to tow them along at a decent pace. He retuned to a more suitable trip last time and should be able to give a good account of himself. However, there always has to be a fear that he will set the race up for a strong finisher and in which case Adweb would also have to merit consideration. She had no chance of getting home over a mile last time but she shaped up well on her previous outing this term and could go close to winning her first race away from Sandown. Loyal Tycoon seems to be benefiting from the David Nicholls magic-touch and is another for the list. But if things run to form, he has a little to prove with Adweb on these terms. Gloaming will need the ground to ease if she is to follow up her sound performance from last time out.
