Verdict
Punters are faced with a difficult task in choosing between some in-form types and the selection process cannot confidently rule too many out. Monash Lady is an obvious contender and arrives here bidding for the hat trick. She is still well treated on the pick of her form and cannot be ruled out of completing her goal in her current frame of mind. Northside Lodge is also running out of his skin at present but it remains to be seen just how much improvement is left in him after being raised another 4lb following his win at Pontefract last time. Archirondel ran well on his only other appearance here and should have come on for his reappearance outing at Newmarket earlier in the month. He is suited but the trip, and a fast pace would only play to his strengths. Carel is open to further improvement and should have had his confidence boosted after winning what was only his seventh career outing last time, but he faces no easy task giving weight away all round.
