Verdict
There plenty of big-name stables represented here so it is a race that should be watched with interest, but, with that said, Sound The Drum looks to hold very solid claims and gets the vote ahead of Beaune and, possibly, Leighton Buzzard. The selection ran with a good deal of promise on his debut when third to Cape Quest. That rates as probably the best form in the race and, with improvement assured, he ought to go close. Beaune showed plenty of promise when third at Haydock on his debut and, with improvement likely, can go well again. Emerald Lodge and Cavalarra were behind him that day. Etaar showed promise on his debut but then disappointed last time. Maybe the going was against him there and he is also dropped in trip today. Ones to watch for in the betting are Peter Chapple Hyam's Leighton Buzzard and Henry Candy's The Abbess, as both stables have done pretty well with juveniles this year. However, the vote goes to Sound The Drum.
