          Verdict

          In this 14-furlong handicap, we will take a chance on Ghengis, but Ski Jump, Mr Ed and Skye's Folly are among others that have to be considered. Trance has been beaten from his revised mark following two wins. Mamcazma has a fine chance on the best of his form but he's been out of sorts of late. Despite being six-pounds higher than for his latest flat win, Mr Ed has taken to cheekpieces and should still give you a run for your money. Ski Jump will win races of this nature but maybe he needs some help from the handicapper. Maybe. Ghengis was not far behind him at York and, lightly-raced, could do even better this time if ridden with a little more restraint. Sporting Gesture comes here in good heart and is only four pounds above a winning mark, while Skye's Folly has been knocking at the door and connections are hopeful of a good run. Teresa has chances at best but has become a little disappointing, Considine generally gives you a run for your money and Redi finally won her maiden last time and might have more improvement to come now. Overall, though the vote goes to Ghengis.
