      Verdict

      Though most of these have had plenty of chances, Wolverhampton runner-up Attenshun and the once-raced Shatin Secret probably need to find something to trouble the others. BENTLEYSOYSTERBOY is among the most exposed but has twice finished in the frame over this C&D and his fourth to Effie B at Sandown in August is arguably the best form on offer here. He gets a tentative vote even though Catterick second Rangooned still appears to be heading in the right direction and Twilight Pearl may appreciate the drop back to 5f. Ladweb was second in a Yarmouth nursery 12 days ago but that looked a particularly weak affair.
