      Verdict

      The trio with experience in this have hardly set the world alight so far so this may go to a newcomer. Valvano represents last year’s winning stable and cost 220,000gns as a yearling. He’s a half-brother to two winners but TOKYO BAY is also a likely type being a half-brother to five winners who all stayed well, including the Group 3 and Listed winner Danadana. Mount Dukono is a half-brother to the French 1,000 Guineas and Oaks winner Avenir Certain so can’t be left out of calculations.
