Verdict

Arctic Fox, a five-times winner on the Flat, found only one too good back over hurdles at Bangor last month. Bob Bob Ricard placed in all three starts in bumpers and should appreciate the step up in trip while My Chiquita made a winning start over timber at Sedgefield having won twice on the level earlier this year. Globe Player has a Flat pedigree but was second in a Warwick bumper and his yard has done well with similar types. Sue Smith’s novices often improve with experience but PADDY O’MAHLER placed twice in bumpers here last season and could put that course knowledge to good use today.
