Verdict

The booking of Ryan Moore for Acclamate could be significant as the top weight makes his Turf debut but a low draw might be a disadvantage. Mike Appleby's filly MOON RIVER appears better berthed against the stands' rail and has winning form over this trip on Polytrack. She beat Gerrard's Slip on Fibresand earlier this year and has been eased a couple of pounds since her fourth over 5f here last month. Secret Spirit only found one too good on her reappearance at Doncaster while Mountain Man was first past the post over 5f here last month only to lose the race in the stewards' room. Lightly-raced Pontefract third Marasim also enters calculations along with all-weather winner You're Cool.
