    Verdict

BIRDCAGE couldn't live with the pace of the long odds-on Washington DC at Tipperary but wasn't beaten all that far and, unless there's something decent amongst the newcomers, she can give Ger Lyons another juvenile winner. Bracklin Princess has shown nothing in two runs on soft ground but Grant Of Approval is speedily-bred being the first foal of a 6f all-weather winner. Miss Phillyjinks is by Zoffany and a half-sister to two all-weather winners over slightly further so she should have plenty of pace, as should the Dandy Man filly Idlers Dream, a half-sister to a two-year-old winner, but Annella is by Dylan Thomas and likely to need further.
