Verdict

Teak was due to run over hurdles at Towcester last night while Yasir ran at Doncaster on Saturday. Sir Frank Morgan has yet to win on Turf but went very close at Ascot last time, though is 3lb higher now. Pearl Spice won over course and distance in August but is still 10lb higher, though will strip fitter for his run over 1m6f here last month. POITIN was twice denied a run when fifth over a shorter trip at Goodwood earlier this month. She should be able to avoid traffic problems on this more conventional track and, as she won over this trip at Kempton in February, gets the nod as French import Carlanda still has a bit to prove.
