Lacan couldn't match the pace of Gm Hopkins in the closing stages over track and trip last month but that was a very promising first effort and he'll be thereabouts if reproducing that effort on today's quicker surface. Arable's last two runs have been over further but Scarlet Plum appears to be heading in the right direction and Zynah will have learned plenty from her debut at Kempton. WANNABE YOURS had two runs in the autumn, finishing third at Doncaster in the second of them having been too green to do himself justice on debut at Newmarket. He should win races this year and this looks a decent starting point.
