In depth
Formwatch
Tarashani (IRE) is bred to be smart and in a race where those with form do not look to be too special he could make a winning debut. Amir Zaman was an expensive purchase but showed very little in two starts last season and will probably need more time, while Teehee was placed in a couple of moderate affairs last year and can probably boast the best public form so far. The dark horse could be St Matthew, who was quietly fancied for a much better race at Newbury on his sole juvenile start and is likely to be capable of much better than he showed that day.
