Verdict
Eight line up for the feature race on the card with Bally Hall the pick ahead of Crimson Dancer, Langford, Golden Dual and Theorist. Bally Hall has been in great form of late, winning two of his last three starts, here at Nottingham and at Brighton a week ago. In between, a combination of soft ground and a low draw put paid to his chances at Beverley, but back on this faster surface he can go in again. Crimson Dancer has been in form on the all-weather but was beaten back on turf at Pontefract. Nevertheless she remains in good heart and is not badly treated. Mark Johnston's team are on fire so it would be foolish not to mention Theorist despite topweight, while Toy Show, successful over the track and trip on his only previous visit last October, showed his wellbeing with a gutsy effort at Sandown last time. Add to the conundrum, Barry Hills's Golden Dual who has been striding out well on the Farringdon Road, and consistent Sir Night and you have the makings of a tight affair-one that we think will go to Bally Hall.
