Verdict

Harb was a beaten odds-on favourite on his debut over 5f here late last month but came up against a useful rival when a close second behind The Kiddykid and should benefit from both the experience and the extra furlong here. Convex ran very green when easily brushed aside behind Floppie Disk on his bow earlier in the month and will be sharper particularly for the first-time visors while newcomer Helms Deep is bred to be precocious and is worth noting in the exchanges.
