Verdict

Stanley beat a big field over course and distance three weeks ago and is only 4lb higher. He steps up a grade for this, however. Fast Dancer was only beaten a neck at Goodwood earlier this month so goes on the short-list. Toboggan's Fire is usually thereabouts and Planetaria exceeded expectations in a Class 2 at Redcar latest – a repeat of that effort would put the three-year-old in the firing-line. Trinity Star missed the break last time at Haydock but was doing good late work and should figure if getting away on terms but the handicapper has taken a real chance with WILDE INSPIRATION. Dropped another 3lb since his latest sixth at Haydock, Julie Camacho's charge is now 8lb lower than when just beaten at Haydock in the spring so gets the nod.
