Parnell's Dream was second over 1m5f at Newmarket in June so should stay this trip. But the one to beat is probably POINTEL (NAP), who has yet to go beyond 1m4f but is by Le Havre who has sired plenty of stayers. James Fanshawe's colt would probably have preferred slightly easier conditions but is one of only two course winners in the line-up. Forth Bridge was second behind St Leger hero Harbour Law at Salisbury in May and then won at Haydock. He's not really fired in two subsequent starts but this looks easier. Velvet Revolution came good at Windsor earlier this month but Corpus Chorister is probably in the handicapper's grip. Ivanhoe could be the pick of the remainder.
